Please note as with most therapies, generally there would be more than one session of clinical hypnotherapy / psychotherapy sessions required to change behaviours, thoughts and beliefs held.

Why choose Hypnotherapy instead of other talk therapies?

To understand why hypnotherapy is effective you must first understand the difference between the Conscious Mind versus the Subconscious Mind

Clinical Hypnotherapy and being induced into hypnotic trance is an extremely relaxing, sensory, visual experience.

Once you are safely guided into this altered state of consciousness or hypnotic trance the application of therapies such as Psychotherapy / NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) or CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) begin and are personalised to meet your specific needs.

 

What to expect in hypnotherapy session -you will always be asked for your permission to be hypnotised and are safe and in complete control during the entire session.  You are able to hear, communicate, remember and recall everything that happens and is discussed during treatment.  Every session ends with a debrief of feelings, emotions and any experiences.

From my personal experience, the best results are achieved when rapport and trust with therapist is established.  Feeling heard and understood is of utmost importance when entering into a Clinical Hypnotherapy session.  Open, honest communication and feedback during every treatment session allows for adjustment to treatment whenever the need arises.
