Crystals Brisbane

Moore Than A Healing retails Crystals (sourced from all over the world) in Wynnum, Brisbane

Crystals form when liquids or gases from inside the earth cool and harden to make a solid.  Crystals are the earth’s DNA – a chemical inprint of evolution.  Crystals store the records of the development of earth.  The chemicals that a mineral is made of will determine what shape it will become – similar to DNA in humans.  Most crystals take thousands of years to grow, while others can grow quite quickly.  Most of the earth’s crystals were formed millions of years ago.

Crystals are unique in that they can absorb, conserve, focus and emit energy (especially on the electro-magnetic wave band known as the aura)

Crystals come in many shapes, sizes and colours.  Crystals look good and are fun to have around.  Crystals can enhance your general wellbeing when respected and cared for correctly.

As crystals are a natural product the colours, shapes, sizes and availability may vary from time to time – stocks are limited.

Crystal Care

Crystals need to be cleansed when you first bring them home and after regular use.

Crystals that are not fragile can be held under slow, soft running water from the tap, or the sea.  As you hold the crystals in the water imagine a bright, white, universal light cleansing and protecting your crystal.

Clear Quartz and Carnelian crystals can cleanse other crystals – if you keep a carnelian in a bag of tumbled stones they will never need to be cleansed in any other way.  Citrine is a self cleansing stone.

Many crystals are fragile, and care needs to be taken – crystals that are layered or clustered can separate.  Selenite is water soluble.  Polished surfaces or natural points may be easily scratched or damaged.  Fragile crystals should be kept apart from other crystals to avoid damage.

Tumbled stones are more durable and you can keep them together in the same bag.

Crystals also need to be reenergised from time to time, this can be done by placing your crystal in the light of the sun or moon for a few hours.  Sunlight can be very hot and may fade some crystals.
